Alumni Placed Diaries: A glimpse into Sanjukta Paul’s journey…
The moment I browsed for more information about Talerang, I got to know about the Founder and CEO, Shveta Raina and her pure intent for providing employment opportunities to fresh deserving graduates. That was the only chance for me to start my journey outside my hometown. I immediately applied for it and luckily got selected. I interned with a startup and then got placed over there. Later, I switched to a multi national corporation, Genpact for career development. Within a year I got the opportunity to be the social media face of that organisation.
I went to Rome, Italy along with my mother. The entire trip was sponsored by the company as I was working as a Journalist / Track side reporter. I was entrusted with the responsibility to cover the entire event of Formula E cars for the company’s social media marketing as Genpact and Envision Virgin Racing are partners.
I was able to observe the Envision Virgin Racing team and their formula cars closely. I even had access to their garage, the epicenter of all the hardcore prepping.
During that time I interviewed Mr. Slyvain, the Managing Director of Envision Virgin Racing. That experience had me pinching myself to check whether this was all real!
All my heartfelt gratitude for this goes out to Talerang and Genpact, which allowed a fresher like me to explore and develop the hidden skills within. I could have never imagined being entrusted with the immense responsibility of being the face of Genpact’s Social Media.

Talerang gets applications from close to 100+ premier colleges across India and has several rounds of selection. Our highly selective cohorts are academically bright, have demonstrated leadership and volunteered to impact their communities. Over 4 years, we have placed 99% of our students and our proud that over 90% of them have been consistently rated as work-ready, with over 50% been given call-back offers for full-time jobs!
