Internship Diaries: A glimpse into Ekta Sawant’s journey…
Where did you intern and what were some of your responsibilities?
I worked under the guidance of the regional HR head of ICICI Prudential for South India. I conducted a research study within the organization to suggest possible changes to HR policies, assisted in the process of employee hiring, employee evaluation, training and content creation.
In what skill track did you intern? What are some important takeaways from the Talerang internship?
My internship with ICICI Prudential provided me with the opportunity to explore the field of research and apply the skills that I learnt. Since then, I have gained tremendous confidence to speak at public events, manage teams, deliver presentations and effectively engage in academic research.
I also learned to network and to maintain to relationships. When I reflect on my journey so far I feel empowered. I now look forward to empowering others by sharing my experience.
